SALE UPDATES
The Friends of Berks County Public Libraries co-sponsors this annual fundraiser with the Reading Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW). Proceeds from the sale are shared between the sponsoring agencies. Friends’ funds are used to support countywide library service while AAUW provides scholarships to local women.
Berks Book Bonanza is the annual used-book sale held each year, offering hard covers and paperbacks. There are children's books separated by reading level. The sale includes fiction, non-fiction, classics, teacher materials, reference items, audio, video, and puzzles.
There are plenty of items in all non-fiction categories: history, biography, science, art, health, nature, hobbies, languages, sports and cookbooks. The fiction selection offers all genres: mysteries, bestsellers, literature, romance, poetry, science fiction, and fantasy titles.
All Berks Book Bonanza materials are donated by Berks Countians with all proceeds returning to Berks County through Friends of the Berks County Public Libraries and Reading Branch of AAUW.
